PHOENIX, AZ—DECEMBER 7, 2014—At 12-to-1 odds Jess One Looke surprised a strong field with a one-length victory over three-time stakes winner Smoke On The Water in Sunday's $52,535 AQRA-Turf Paradise Open Quarter Horse Futurity at Turf Paradise. Jess Rockn was a head behind in the show position.

Jess One Looke broke out at the start but finished well under jockey Jorge Bourdieu, to complete the 400 yard distance in :20.066 seconds, a 93 speed index. Trainer Matthew Fales saddled the Jesse James Jr filly for the partnership of Elaine Cota-Robles and Ralph and Carolyn Fales.

It was the second win in six starts for the multiple stakes finalist and the $25,268 winner's purse boosted her career total to over $33,220. MJ Farms bred the sorrel filly in New Mexico from the champion producing Lanes Leinster mare Champagne Lane. Ralph and Carolyn Fales purchased the filly for $30,000 in the 2013 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.
